2011 ΞΆΓάΘ¦ Undergraduate Research Conference
Saturday, October 1, 2011
9:30 am - 4 pm
Welcome to the website for the inaugural ΞΆΓάΘ¦ Undergraduate Research Conference. Students from ΞΆΓάΘ¦, Union, Colgate, Hamilton, St. Lawrence, Siena, and St. Rose will present their research, scholarship or creative activity in concurrent sessions organized by disciplines. Students from all disciplines are welcome. The goal of the conference is to provide undergraduates with the experience of attending and/or presenting at a professional meeting without the high registration fees and travel costs of a professional conference. This meeting will also be a useful opportunity for faculty from neighboring liberal arts colleges to meet each other. In 2011, we will have 72 research projects involving 102 students. 75% of the research projects are from the STEM disciplines. There is no registration fee to participate. For more information, contact Bob Turner, Director of the ΞΆΓάΘ¦ Faculty-Student Summer Research Program at sk_urc11(at)skidmore.edu.
