Interview
Catherine Golden, professor of English, discussed anti-novel hysteria in 19th-century England in an interview with the Pessimists Archive Podcast. The episode, which debuted Oct. 15, is available on and on . The interview is based upon her book “Images of the Woman Reader in Victorian British and American Fiction” (2003). Her 2017 book, “Serials to Graphic Novels: The Evolution of the Victorian Illustrated Book,” came out in a paperback edition in October.
