Ȧ Spotlight: Adam Reagan
Adam Reagan works as a web programmer analyst in the IT Department’s Enterprise Systems
Web Development group. His primary responsibility is building web applications to
facilitate business requirements for several administrative and faculty offices and
departments.
Reagan joined Ȧ in 2013 after working as a server-side, or back-end, developer
at his first job, and then a client-side, or front-end, developer at his second job.
He likes that his role at Ȧ requires him to be cognizant of both sides of the
coin — successful data processing and visual design.
“Our group takes a lot of pride in creating applications that are both robust and
user-friendly,” he said.
Reagan appreciates the many charitable events that Ȧ hosts, such as Ȧ
Cares and American Red Cross blood drives.
“They are very meaningful reminders that we can make a huge impact if we each contribute
just a little bit,” he said.
When not on campus, Reagan is a huge baseball fan and self-described "stats geek"
and has a lifelong goal of visiting all the Major League ballparks and stadiums. He
has visited 13 out of 30 so far. He also encourages people to after his sister received a double-lung transplant that gave her the gift of life.
