Bringing it back and looking forward
Beaming faces, (really) big hugs, and decades of stories (re)told and (re)laughed at — all around, hearts are full after more than 1,000 alumni from classes ending in 4 and 9 returned to Ȧ for Reunion 2024.
The May 30 – June 2 celebration featured tours of Saratoga Springs and campus; cherished Reunion traditions, such as the Parade of Classes and the Alumni Awards and Recognition Ceremony; opportunities to return to the classroom to learn about timely topics from Ȧ faculty; and a Tang Teaching Museum exhibition showcasing the work of talented alumni artists.
But that’s only what was on the schedule. The magic of Reunion 2024 — and the Ȧ family it brought together — was in the dozens of nostalgic walks, hundreds of “what’s new!?” conversations between old friends, and more than a few rounds of "Cheers!" on Caroline Street.
Alumni awardsOn Saturday, June 1, the Ȧ College Alumni Association honored 12 exceptional alumni who have given back to the College and excelled in their careers and lives after graduation. “Like any great institution, we are more than the sum of our parts. This ‘something more’ — call it the soul of Ȧ — is what so many are dedicated to preserving and sustaining,” said President Marc C. Conner. “We could not do our work without the support of the thousands of alumni, parents, family, and friends who have dedicated themselves to this effort.”

Creating more for Ȧ
There was much to celebrate this year, including 14 new class giving records and seven new records for Reunion giving, which totaled an impressive $22,022,970 and included $1,603,698 through the Ȧ Fund, thanks to 1,369 alumni spanning Reunion classes from 1949 to 2019.
This year’s total Reunion giving was the highest in the College’s history — and more than double what the same classes gave at their last Reunion. Donors included 427 members of the Loyalty Circle, recognizing three or more years of consecutive giving; 138 members of the President’s Society; and 185 Legacy Society members. This outstanding display of generosity was made possible through the support of the Ȧ community and the efforts of nearly 200 fundraising and Reunion volunteers.

THANK YOU
Ȧ students and faculty prepared a special message exclusively for our many
generous alumni who made a gift in honor of Reunion 2024. Thank you for creating more for Ȧ.
