Make Your Voice Heard Ȧ Public Policy Prize
The Subcommittee on Responsible Citizenship is pleased to announce the Make Your Voice Heard Ȧ Public Policy Prize 2025 Competition. All current students are invited to be a part of the political process by writing a formal letter to an official and a proposal for a grassroots effort to engage the public on a particular issue. The winner receives $1,000. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Friday, April 11.
On-campus pre-orientation opportunity

All programs are peer-led, and submissions should be accompanied by interested students who love to lead and help others with their College transitions. 2025 Humanistic Inquiry Symposium
All are invited to this year’s Humanistic Inquiry Symposium, March 21-22 at the Tang Teaching Museum. The Symposium will explore the theme of Time — its purposes, its influence, and the ways it shapes our existence — and feature a keynote address by Thomas DeFrantz, professor at Northwestern University and director of SLIPPAGE: Performance|Culture|Technology. President Marc C. Conner, along with faculty members from a variety of disciplines, will lead sessions examining timefulness — our state of being in time — and how humanistic inquiry helps illuminate this fundamental aspect of life.
