APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Preference will be given to students who meet the following requirements:
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75;
- At least sophomore standing at the time of program participation
- Ability to demonstrate, through personal essay and recommendations, the level of maturity and self-motivation needed to succeed abroad.
Additional application requirement for the ΞΆΓάΘ¦ in France: Language and Culture track (advanced):
- Students interested in taking courses taught in French must have, at minimum, be enrolled in or or completed at least WLF-208.
If you do not meet the requirements above, you must petition to study abroad.
Customarily, students apply to study off campus in their junior-year; however, students
may be able study in Montpellier during their sophomore or senior year as well. Students
wanting to study in France outside of their junior year should meet with the ΞΆΓάΘ¦
in France program manager to discuss the non-junior petition, which includes:
- 1 letter of faculty support (preferably from the instructor of the student’s faculty advisor).
- 1 statement of intent explaining why they want to study abroad outside of the junior year. Students should indicate in the letter what their academic plans are for the remainder of their time at ΞΆΓάΘ¦ or other home campus.

- Fall semester / Academic Year: March 15
- Spring semester: October 1
Applications may be accepted after the listed deadlines on a case-by-case basis. Students must contact OCSE before submitting a late application.
